Secure, considered art and picture installation for reception areas, boardrooms and workspaces across Sydney.
In a professional workplace, art is part of how a business presents itself. A reception wall sets the tone for visitors, boardroom pieces add a sense of occasion to meetings, and considered artwork through shared spaces helps a team feel at home. Getting the placement and the fixing right matters just as much as the art itself.
At All Art & Mirrors, office art and picture hanging is an advisory service, not simply an install. Every project is handled personally by Alessandro, who brings over 15 years of hands-on experience and a background in fine-art handling and antiques transport for auction houses. The work is covered by full public liability insurance and a workmanship warranty, and All Art & Mirrors has been recognised with Best of Houzz awards in 2016 and 2020.

We specialise in art and picture hanging for Sydney workplaces, combining careful placement with the practical needs of a working office. The aim is straightforward: work environments that look professional, support the people who use them, and reinforce a brand at every touchpoint.
A great portion of our commercial work is for law firms and medical clinics, and the spaces we are asked about most often are reception areas and boardrooms. These are the rooms that shape a first impression, so they reward a considered approach to what goes on the wall, how high it sits, and how securely it is fixed.
We advise on, supply and install picture hanging rails for areas where the rotation of artworks is of concern, thus eliminating the need to drill new holes in the walls and patch filling old ones.
From a single reception wall to a fit-out across several floors, every piece is installed by hand with commercial-grade fixings, and we can work outside standard hours to keep disruption to a minimum.

For oversized or heavy pieces we also provide art installation and secure art transport so artworks arrive and are installed safely.
Hanging art in a commercial space is not the same as hanging it at home. One of the most common misconceptions is that every piece should be centred at a fixed 155 to 156 centimetre eye-level line. In many offices that height looks too low. The right approach is to scale the placement to the space and the way people move through it.
Step 1
Consultation and planning
We discuss your office layout, branding and goals to tailor the approach before anything goes on the wall.
Step 2
Site assessment
We assess reception areas, boardrooms, hallways and workspaces to identify safe, effective placements and the right fixing for each wall.
Step 3
Placement and positioning advice
Drawing on years of hands-on experience, we advise on height, alignment and spacing so the finished result is cohesive and professional.
Step 4
Choosing the right fixing
Studs for heavy pieces, picture rails for spaces that rotate art, anti-theft fittings for common areas such as building lifts lobbies, foyers etc. and stainless-steel hooks with support trims for heavy large items in permanent settings, in high-traffic areas.
Step 5
Protecting the artwork
Where needed, we recommend adding UV protection and screen protectors, and we handle every piece of fine-art transport with care.
Step 6
Discreet installation
We install with minimal disruption and can schedule work after hours or on weekends so the working day is not interrupted.
Step 7
Final walkthrough
We check that every piece is level, consistent and aligned with your professional image before we leave.
We are proud to deliver office art and picture hanging for a wide range of Sydney workplaces. A large percentage of our commercial work is for law firms and medical clinics, though we regularly install across other sectors too.
We are rated Excellent across 326 Google reviews, with clients regularly praising the placement advice as much as the finished install.
Higher than you might at home, especially considering that work stations with desktop screens and monitors, as well as desk dividers can be reasonably high. The common eye-level rule of around 155 centimetres is often too low for offices with high ceilings or open-plan floors. We scale the height to the room, and in boardrooms we hang higher again so pieces clear high-backed chairs.
For offices that like to change their display, we recommend a picture-rail system so artwork can be rotated without drilling new holes in the Gyprock. The use of a specialised hanging system is also advised for panelled or heritage walls that cannot be drilled at all.
Reception art usually sits beside the company logo, so it is positioned to read clearly to visitors, often a little higher than standard gallery height. We favour neutral or abstract pieces that complement the branding rather than compete with it.
Office glass partitions are often frosted to around up to shoulder height , so the art placement is relatively higher, in order to be seen through the clear glass above, where possible. For solid panelled walls that cannot be drilled, we may use specialised hanging systems attached to the top sections of panels, such as gallery “S” Hooks and suspended via loop hangers and frame hooks, that holds the art pieces securely, without damaging the wall.
Calm, welcoming pieces tend to work best. In clinics we avoid strong, overwhelming, political or confronting imagery, and lean towards art that helps people feel at ease. A children’s setting, for example, suits gentle, friendly artwork in reception and office areas.
We check whether the windows are UV-treated, and where needed we can recommend adding UV protection to the glass windows, skylight ceilings and glass doors. Alternatively, the picture frames could be fitted with museum grade non-reflective ArtGlass or Perspex front with UV coating. In bright or high-traffic areas we can also fit acrylic screen protectors to guard the art pieces.
Yes. We locate studs for proper support, use appropriate quality fixings for the weight, and hang above high-backed chairs so nothing obstructs the view. All work is covered by full public liability insurance and a workmanship warranty.
Yes. We regularly work outside standard business hours so staff and clients are not disrupted during the working day.
Yes. We provide scalable installations that keep placement and quality consistent across different levels or office locations.
The right artwork, placed and fixed properly, changes how a workplace feels and how a business is perceived. Whether you are refreshing a single reception wall or fitting out an entire building, we bring the experience, care and secure methods to get it right the first time.
